Shocking. More space in ahamsters house. Holds one childs buggy and it is full. Servioce is cheap as chips. Check the steering as it can be chucky and can grind if not properly mantained. Dealer was ok. Not the greatest, not the worst. This is a very accomadating car. He easily carries all my children in comfort. The leathert seats a very comfortable and the interior is very nice with plenty of cup holders, tables and cubby wholes for storage. The engine is not the fastest or most econicalk deisel I have ever owned but it is very reliable..

the space and flexiblity are amazing a proper people carrier.
Dealer will not repair gearbox under warranty even though this is a common problem..
The Hyundai Trajet is A TRAGEDY! Hate The Car So Much..
get a small engine car.
We have experienced nothing but trouble with this car since we bought it. The car only has 74K genuine miles on it (diesel) Everything seemed to go wrong within a couple of months of buying it. I have had many cars but this is the worst for reliability. We will sell it at a huge loss. I will never buy another Hyundai as long as I live..
DO NOT BUY ONE!!!!!.
Fine car for a turbo diesel automatic. Like the leather interior. Would have preferred a sunroof as opposed to the a/c. Abit heavy on the diesel but would definitely buy another one. She who must be obeyed loves it. All problems sorted by dealer. The only draw back is 90euros for wipers for the front is outrageous. Dealer service is excellent (Cavanaghs of Charleville), highly recommend them.
I really cant find much good to say about it except for tyhe fact that it is comfortable to drive (which hasnt happened much as its nearly always in the garage).
This is a big heavy car and not easy on the pocket when it comes to petrol. However compare the price of the trajet to any other in its class and you still save money.Outside of the brakes having to be replaced I have had no problems with two automatic trajets over four years and we are about to get another one because she who must be listened to loves the car to bits so until a car the same size and spec at this price comes along ........
Plenty of room but a little thirsty..
Why oh why! AVOID AVOID AVOID!.
excellant car.loads of space. will def. be replacing it with the new model when the time comes!.
excellent value for money..
Having driven over 1m miles (75,000 in this car) it has been the best for Irish road conditions. On a number of occasions I have driven over 400 miles in a day and arrived fresh. On one occasion, ABS and precise handling got me out of an horrendous situation that would otherwise have resulted in fatalities. My wife and son saw a car coming at us on the wrong side, passing a longline of traffic and leaving me with only one very risky option, when it lost control. They could not believe I could avoid a crash. I discovered Hyundai in 1995 (attracted by ABS) and I have driven 5 (3 models) in the interim. Hyundai are simply the best. Over the 10 years I had less problems with five cars than with any single car used previously..
Had this car for 1.5 years and had to get rid of it at a loss. It cost me a fortune to run and fix. Buy a Toyota Previa - much more reliable and cheaper to run..
Does exactly what it says on the tin ! Pulls very well even with seven adults.Great amount of space.Good value for your money , but get a diesel for city driving..
I'm gutted to have to sell this car. I'll definitely buy another when I'm able to..
heavy on petrol i had the car serviced on time every time one was due and had all the above problems!! i love the size of the car compared to other 7 seaters but so unreliable i have been assured by the dealer that this has been exceptionally strange blah, blah, blah. all i know is that my previous car (nissan micra) went for services and nothing else in the 18 mths that i had it..
Fantastic MPV for motorway driving, loads of engine power even when fully loaded, loads of room for the kids (adults too), fuel consumption on the average (decision based on motorway use only. Don't use for city or town runs, thats when it becomes a gas guzzler - don't forget its a 2.0 litre engine, what do you expect), A/c highly recommended..
Very very heavy on Petol.Would not consider getting another one due to very heavy fuel consumption. Is very rattley on small roads.Very well designed interior, v suitable for families. Great Space..
The interior is very basic Hydundai dealers should get their act together.
Great value for money. Its so flexible, I do not know we managed before with kids. Go for diesel with climate control..
Great value for money, lots of room for the kids, leather and climate control still cheaper than base models of other full size seven seater mpv|s!! Diesel was my choice,.
Great space for a family, loads of room and no arguing betwen the kids. fantastic value compared to similar people-carriers!.
all said above, only problem was with dealership, poor after sale service, but what|s new, could not get the first service, given the run around gave up trying.
