great drive and very comfortable , unblieveable fuel economey ,.
I love the car, the drive, driver position, comfort. Hinchys garage have been excellent in their service to address the issues encountered..
this is a great car. My last car was a freelander and i do enjoy the benefits a SUV/4X4 brings. But the difference between the freeland 2 and Antara are worlds appart. The landrover was built as a off road vehicle and adapted to on-road. this is what give you the bit of roll on bends and that sinking feeling at higher speeds. The Antara was built to be on the road and if you have to take it off road well ok it can handle it..as longs as its not to rough - so you get inceribly smooth road driving. The accelration is also great in the Antara where you are always waiting for the freelander to catch up with where you wish you where. I do love the landrover it bounces around proudly and is always ready for the faithful day you decide right lets go off road or when you need to load it up for the city dump or when you need to give a tow. Problem is you only do these things once every so often if ever (plus dont get me started on how much the freelander costs to run, between fuel pumps and bits falling off - lets just say build quaility was never the best front). so the winner for me is the Opel, not as grand a word as the landrover, but it looks great, drives great and has more then you expected from an SUV/4X4 and i have had a few...safe driving.
Bought this after having a 08 toyota landcruiser for 2 months. It makes any jap 4x4 look bad. Drives like a car very reliable no problems towing 2 tonnes, very comfortable on bad roads. It copes well off road good torque and grip 4x4 system limts slip in mud. For a so called soft roader it performs better than toyotas so called landcruiser.
Totally reliable and look fab.
Comfortable with super performance and economy..
